Why I Write About My AI Journey?
A blog about artificial intelligence... and my learning path.
Now that I've shared this blog publicly (they still call it a blog, right?), it seems like a good time to tell you why I write it.
For me, it all started with curiosity. I love learning, but not just scratching the surface. I want to really understand how things work.
I've spent the last couple of years using, researching, and studying the technology behind Generative Artificial Intelligence –Gen-AI, for shorts– and along the way, I realized two things:
Almost everything I found was too technical (as if you needed a Ph.D. to understand something we use every day).
Or 30-second videos that barely scratched the surface - yes TikTok, I'm talking about you.
That's why I write. Because I believe there's a middle ground between academic papers and Instagram reels. A space where we can understand this technology well enough to make the most of it.
Think about Formula 1: to push the car to its limits, a driver must understand its capabilities and limitations. They don't need to know how to build an engine, but they do need to know in detail how it works and responds under different conditions.
Something similar happens with AI, with the difference being that in this world, changes happen approximately every five minutes! And here I am, testing new tools and techniques as they appear. Sometimes they work, sometimes not so much (we file those under "learning experiences" 😅).
My goal? To share what I discover. Not because I know everything – in fact, the more I learn, the more I realize how much I still have to learn – but because I believe this journey is more interesting if we do it together.
So welcome to My AI Journey. A blog (?) where we try to understand artificial intelligence without needing a P.H.D... though we won't settle for 30-second tutorials either.
That's it. That's why I'm here trying to write, which by the way becomes easier with AI assistants.
Hope you like the content and wouldn't mind subscribing :)

PS: Just so you know - this all started in Spanish! AprendiendoIA has been my home since 2024, and now I'm bringing these AI adventures to English speakers too. Same mission, new language. Welcome aboard!
